Misleading... but Heart-warming

Title: Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai)
Type: Anime
Status: Completed (2 seasons, 24 episodes in total)

Plot: Hasegawa Kodaka is half-Japanese half-English guy who just transferred to St. Chronica's Academy. Because of his "pudding"-coloured hair (blonde), he was misunderstood by the other students as a delinquent, though he really is a nice and sweet guy. [I mean, really. He's the kind of guy I would fall for. Mwahaha! Just kidding.] So then, he had this weird meeting with Mikazuki Yozora, wherein he sees her talking to her "air friend" Tomo. The two of them made a club together called "Neighbour's Club". Their aim - to make friends. AND WATCH THE REST. SERIOUSLY.

Okaaay... So, first impressions.. Uhh, ecchi... perverted... and just crap. *sigh* What's with my first impressions?
Anyway, it is ecchi in some ways because of the big boobs, perverted thoughts and genderbend ideas. However, Haganai is something that you should really watch. First impressions? Scrap that!

Haganai or Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is something that I would recommend for everyone. It centres on friendship, betrayal and just trying to fit in. Though, in the first few episodes, you can see how the story line is cliched, it will always give you surprises and twists in each episode.

Though I just started Season 2 and it's so far, so good. I still have this heaviness in my chest because of how Season 1 has ended.

Well, yeah... That's why it's misleading... Scenes like these... are just plain funny!!! Hahahaha! :3 But don't worry, it's not what you're thinking about, pervy~ :3

*SPOILER*
I just want Taka and Sora to be friends again...

MY HEART... (TAT)

Title: Nana
Type: Anime
Status: Completed [47 Episodes]
Type: Manga
Status: On Hiatus

Plot: Two girls. Same name. Same Age. Different circumstances with one fated meeting. Might give you the idea of a yuri manga but it's not. [~fufufu...] Komatsu Nana is going off to Tokyo because she wants to be an independent woman and follow her boyfriend. Meanwhile Osaki Nana goes off to Tokyo so she achieve her dreams of being in a band and catch up with her lover. On one fated snowy evening.... WATCH IT, so you'll know! :P

Okay, I'm not really a person who just writes a review for any anime I haven't finished yet BUT I just have to right now or else my heart would break! [I'm still in episode 14, btw] But I think this anime is super genius. Compared to slice of life/romance/josei anime like Bokura ga Ita [which I really hated because of the ending] I think Nana gave me a spark in a single episode.

I'm still shivering with anger after episode 13 but that's the reason why a person chases after one anime programme. It gives a sense of interest to the audiences. Let me continue watching this ne?
[Though I already know the ending... in the manga.... TAT, I'm such an idiot.]

Aliens. Movies. Death. Love.

Title: Ano Natsu de Matte Iru
Type: Anime
Episodes: 12

Plot: Kaito Kirirshima has a passion for movies and film that he always brings his camera with him. One night, while testing his new camera and films the night sky, he accidentally gets killed in one "BOOM"... Next morning, he wakes up with no recollection with happened. He goes to school only to find out there is a very beautiful older transfer student named Ichika. Then the rest.... well, WATCH?!?!

Okay. Truthfully, I'm not a big fan of Sci-fi so when I read the synopsis, I was quite not interested. But since it is a summer story (I watched AnoHana 2 summers ago and looked what happened... :P) I said to myself, "Hey give it a try, for summer's sake" So I did... And it was sooo.... huhuhuhu... (TAT) yeah... good guess... I cried, again! What's with these summer stories, geez!!! Last summer I watched The Girl who Leapt through Time and I just broke down.

But Ano Natsu de Matteru is something I would recommend not only for the summer seasons but throughout the whole year. I would totally watch it all over again... but gosh, time is flying so fast. And man, too much anime, soo little time plus school and digital art and traditional art and my life's a total chaos... Augh!

Enough about my ranting. The only thing about this anime that I really really hate is when the characters would say something they don't mean and my chest just aches... But I think that's a good thing isn't it? Because it makes the audiences engaged to the anime programme itself. Great job again, JC STAFF!! Love lots.

The Anime that made my cry like a child from beginning to end!

Title: Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mad Shiranai (AnoHana)
Type: Anime
Status: Completed (11 Episodes)
Author: Mari Okada

Plot: Jinta is a high school student who has pretty much given up everything. On a summer day, a ghost, or what he calls "hallucination" of his childhood friend Menma appeared to him, 10 years after she died. She came back telling him that she cannot rest because of a promise she made 10 years ago to someone. You need to watch to understand the rest.

Okay, not because I said the word "GHOST", it's going to be a horror anime. NO, you are wrong. It's not a horror anime, it's a romance/friendship anime that will make you cry from beginning to end.
11 episode full of tear and snot falling. So prepare your tissues dear. A friendly reminder here, follow it!
I will not say anything about this. Because this is one of the greatest and priceless anime you could ever find in your whole freaking life.
IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THIS, YOU JUST MISSED HALF OF YOUR LIFE! SERIOUSLY!

Anyway, this anime was the second anime that made me cry. The first one was Angel Beats. :)

Enjoy yourselves, deary!

*Bang* *Bang* *Reloads Gun* Shoot!

Title: Hidan no Aria
Type: Anime
Status: Completed
Author: Chugaku Akamatsu
Mangaka: Kobuichi

Plot: Kinji is a student of a specialised school wherein part of their "lessons" are handling a gun or targeting a criminal. However, one day when he tries to quit school, a skilled killer tries to hunt any student from that school. Then a petite tsundere girl, Aria, an S-rank student came to his rescue and.... Well, let's just watch it.

Hidan no Aria! Excellent! If I was to grade it, I'd give it 4.5 stars. Effects: Great! Graphics: Great! Plot: Great! Characters: (*¬*)
Well, Hidan no Aria is one of your "typical" school life anime with a twist. It's just that, normal students just don't handles guns that professionally and try to kill someone off the road. This is one hell of an anime.
I greatly recommend it for all fans of the genre of school life, comedy, action and ecchi.
~Oh and, just a spoiler. Aria is one hell of a tsundere.~ >////< ~fufufufuf!

Until next time

The Perfect City is not as perfect as you think.

Title: NO. 6 (Number Six)
Type: Anime
Status: Completed
Author: Atsuko Asano
Mangaka: Hinoki Kino

Plot: Shion is one of the best, most intelligent student in the city. However, he is looking for something more profound. He feels quite caged in the city he's living in. One night, on a storm, while venting out he's frustration, an injured kid named Nezumi came to his quarters and soon discovers that Nezumi is a 'criminal' but that truth is far larger than that. What is really going on in the perfect city of NO. 6?

No. 6. One of the best animes I have ever watched in my whole entire life. The art is wonderful, the storyline is excellent. What more can I ask for? My first impression of this is another shounen/seinen anime with a lot of fighting, crying and sacrifice/redemption crap but I was really astounded because all my judgements were crushed down ultimately by the first episode. From experience, my advice, don't let firsr impressions ruin your imagination. Hey, maybe the crappiest anime you think just because of a boring one episode, hmpf, might as well continue and see what happens.

Anyway, caution though. NO.6 has a hint of shounen ai. And shounen Ai haters, well, you might as well erase that kind of mentality because this anime might initiate you to a whole new level. :3

Ohh, and uhm... Here's a little fan service
Just kidding! Here you go, the famous NO. 6 cover
